I recently had the chance to participate in the Lexus branded, “Road to the U.S. Open”
program this Summer. While you may be wondering, that’s not a women’s golf event? Correct! But the increased female attendance,
viewership, and engagement across men’s events are way up nationwide and globally.
Taking that into account, Lexus and its team produced a bucket list worthy experience with a very curated group of people ranging from
media, creators, celebrities, and athletes—Women’s Golf included as 1 of 3 women. Throughout the trip we all rotated driving new and
different Lexus models from the RX, IS, LX, and more which of course fully surrounded golf. From playing iconic courses to watching
championship golf. We took these vehicles from the hotel to the golf course, across ferry crossings, to hotels to the championship, and
these rides couldn’t have been smoother. Personally, my favorite of the trip was the new Lexus
LX suv,
which to me was like rugged luxury in the sense of having the versatility between power and luxury.
The itinerary was a coastal dream that kicked off in Cape Cod, where we stayed at what could only be described as a fairytale property: Chatham Bars Inn.

Our first stop was Kittansett Club and that experience felt like we were training for Scotland with the course set up and intense whipping wind but of course, that’s what made it fun. Their logo is a seashell, so you can imagine the amount of hats and swag I purchased.
With multiple ferry jumps (my first time ever driving a vehicle onto a boat!), we landed at our 2nd golf stop, the exclusive hamptons enclave: The Bridge. This property was once a race track, and still has so many components and art works from that around the course along with a very modern clubhouse. Of course, I, along with others, definitely had to pick up some merchandise from this spot. I think this was also one of the best caddie experiences I’ve ever had—a very tough course, but also so stunning. I couldn’t stop taking photos!
We had the immense pleasure of checking into what is now one of my favorite properties I’ve ever stayed at in the world (not joking), Shou Sugi Ban House. This dream of a property is special, intimate, and fully focused on wellness around the guest’s experience within its 13 suite property. I can’t explain the bliss that Shou Sugi Ban House is, you have to experience it yourself; you will be a changed person after staying there or, experience one of their unique experiences they provide on property.
To wrap up this incredible Lexus golf trip, we of course, watched some championship golf at Shinnecock in the Lexus Hospitality Suite which provided panoramic views of 17 and beyond. Between arriving for the experience to capping things off with watching golf, the Lexus team was unmatched. They were present from the start, engaged with everyone and the programs, and made sure everything enjoyed themselves.
On top of owning what is a beautiful, safe, and incredible vehicle, having access to experiences like the U.S. Open, other golf majors,
sports and lifestyle events, Lexus truly lives up to its standard of Experience Amazing.
Fun fact: In the U.S., women buyers actually lead the charge making up 50.4% of Lexus consumers—the largest female consumer base in the traditional luxury automotive industry against all other brands.
