Cabot Citrus Farms - Destination Golfing in Florida

The Cabot Collection’s first-ever U.S.-based golf destination, Cabot Citrus Farms, has re-emerged as a vibrant 485 hectare destination known for incredible golf!

Karoo, an 18-hole course, and two short courses – The Squeeze and The Wedge – opened for preview play in late January 2024, while The Roost, another 18-hole course, opens for preview play in June 2024. 

Located in the Floridian region known as the Nature Coast, Cabot Citrus Farms is surrounded by state forests and Wildlife Management Areas. 

Aside from brilliant golf, visitors will delight in one-of-a-kind experiences including exceptional hiking and biking trails at neighbouring Withlacoochee State Forest and world-class fishing in the Gulf of Mexico.

Firmest and Fastest Conditions In The South 

Cabot Citrus Farms has two renovated 18-hole courses: Karoo (previously Cabot Barrens) by Kyle Franz, offering a rugged aesthetic with unique grassing patterns, wide corridors of play, and varied routes to pins and tee box placements; and opening for preview play in June 2024, The Roost (previously Cabot Oaks), co-designed by Mike Nuzzo, Kyle Franz and Ran Morrissett, which capitalises on different environments to offer a world-class golf experience for players of all skill levels.    

Two Short Courses 

Designed by Mike Nuzzo, The Squeeze is a 9-hole course full of fun and drama. Holes range from 90 to 500 metres, and many of their designs were inspired by the world’s best short par 4s. The Wedge is an 11-hole par-3 course offering expansive waste areas and greens with dramatic slopes. Holes range from 80 to 110 metres. Golfers have the option to play the short courses in between or after full rounds. 

Stay & Play 

Cabot Citrus Farms has begun welcoming a limited number of resort guest stays and will continue releasing accommodation bookings in a phased approach. Currently, Karoo, The Squeeze and Wedge are open for Preview Play, with a property grand opening slated for September 2024. Roost will open on November 1^st with limited Preview Play starting on or before October 1st.

Amenities & Activities 

Beautiful nature trails, racquet sports (tennis, pickleball, padel ball) and relaxing pool time are all activities to look forward to at Cabot Citrus Farms. Plus, there will be clay shooting, archery and more on-site activities for the entire family! 

Food options will include food trucks and The Grange Hall, a central gathering space featuring a diverse, health-focused menu, luxury indoor and outdoor seating areas, grab n’ go general store, bar and a cozy outdoor fire pit lounge. Just as Cabot Citrus Farms radiates a unique sense of place within the Floridian countryside, so too does the Grange Hall with its abundance of natural light, nature-inspired colour palette and unique local furnishings. 

New Residences
