Nelly Korda Takes Lead in Rolex ANNIKA Major Award Standings

Following her victory at The Chevron Championship at The Club at Carlton Woods, Nelly Korda has taken the lead in the 2024 Rolex ANNIKA Major Award standings.

The major championship win is Korda’s fifth straight title, tying Nancy Lopez and Annika Sorenstam for most consecutive LPGA Tour wins since 1978. The victory is the 13th of her LPGA Tour career and her second major title. Korda is the third player to win The Chevron Championship as World No. 1 since the inception of the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings in 2006, joining Lorena Ochoa (2006) and Lydia Ko (2016).

After becoming a major champion for the first time at the 2021 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, Korda finished second in the Rolex ANNIKA Major Award standings that season, just two points back of Patty Tavatanakit.

The Rolex ANNIKA Major Award recognizes the player who, during a current LPGA Tour season, has the most outstanding record in all five major championships. Points will be awarded at all five major championships to competitors who finish among the top-10 and ties. In order to earn the award by year’s end, a player must win at least one of the five major titles.

The winner of the Rolex ANNIKA Major Award will be announced following the conclusion of the AIG Women’s Open, and will be honored at the Rolex LPGA Awards at the CME Group Tour Championship in November.

The leaderboard through The Chevron Championship is as follows:
