I have around 10–12 LPGA events I will be covering in person this year. I’ll be all over the place, and I can’t wait. My next trip will actually be to San Francisco for the Founders Cup in mid-March, but by the time people read this, I’ll be in Augusta, covering the Women’s Amateur and then the Chevron Championship!
This year, we have partnered with the LPGA to be more boots on the ground, to really uncover the interesting storylines that persist
throughout the 2026 season. The plan is to be at all five major championships for the women, as well as several other signature events like
the CME Group Tour Championship, which is the tour’s season finale.
Hahaha, they’re all baddies! But I do have some faves on the Tour. Lydia Ko was actually the first woman I crowned a baddie, so I’ll say her for sure.
As I said, I’m headed back to the Augusta National Women’s Amateur and right now I’m all eyes on Emily Odwin. She’s the first player to qualify from Barbados and she’s one of the first Black women to compete at ANWA. I love her story and I’m excited to see the exposure and access she’ll get from such a huge event.
Outside of that, I really love Lottie Woad. She technically isn’t an LPGA rookie, but she has yet to play a full year on the tour, and she’s already a winner on the tour. Her potential feels unlimited.
With it being a Solheim Cup year, I have to say the course that’s hosting, Bernardus Golf in the Netherlands. That’s my number one.
I will be playing Riviera in LA this year, which is the host course of the U.S. Women’s Open and the next Summer Olympics.
I don’t know if I have a third course yet. I got to play in Mexico a couple of times last year, so if one of those courses will have me back, I’m leaving my calendar open for it, lol!
Who are you with, 100%. I am such a people and vibes person. Golf, vacation, life—whatever is better when you’re with good
people.
This is so hard, but the 2023 Malbon x Evian collab for the LPGA’s Evian Championship. They made this pink, satin bomber jacket that still lives in my mind. The GAP x Malbon collab in 2025 was also a personal favorite, it was very preppy, Americana.
I love it. I love that it’s finally happening and I’m excited that Michelle freaking Wie is coming back for it.
I really hope they find ways to merge WTGL and TGL schedules when it makes sense, but I am excited to see these women in this format. Golf fans are too quick to judge sometimes, and I think we need to allow new ideas and concepts to take shape before writing them off completely.
Oh, wow. This question is heavy, but overall, I do love the space where golf is currently, but we need to keep the momentum going.
It’s obvious that things are evolving and the sport is moving into a more diverse, accessible and stylish future. There’s so much room to grow, especially as it pertains to women’s golf and junior golf. I'd love to see more efforts and investments in these areas and really hammering in on accessibility—but not just for the initial outreach. How do we keep people here long-term? Those are the questions we need to answer, and soon.
How and how much a community communicates are the most important things to me. There doesn’t need to be a million and one channels; keep it simple and consistent, so people are more likely to participate. But the best kind of golf dynamic is when you’re kind of just thrown into stuff with someone else. Communities don’t have to be large to make an impact; that random golf group you got roped into as a single player and now you all play together regularly, counts, and that’s my favorite version of community.
Honest.
I don’t think there’s anyone who would argue that the way women’s golf is being spoken about is an over-exaggeration. There needs to be more visibility, and we need to just be better consumers of media as it relates to the women’s game. Ask better questions, demand more from leaders and platforms, let’s not just point out problems but ideate around things that make us excited.
And though we can recognise the parts that need nurturing, I also believe that people genuinely care about women in golf and women’s golf as a whole. And that’s what matters.
More color! It’s too monochromatic right now, I need to spice it up with some colorful accessories and textured headcovers.
