Joanne Turner

Joanne Turner is a multi- award winning, dual qualified Accredited Practicing Dietitian and Accredited Exercise Physiologist, with a double Master of Science Degree from the University of Wollongong, and over a decade of experience. 

Joanne is the director of NuActive Health, a Nutrition, Dietetics and Lifestyle consultancy business based in Sydney, Australia. NuActive Health has consulted to over 10 thousand individual clients, as well as elite sporting teams, corporations, government and non-government organisations, the food industry and the media. 

Joanne is one of Sydney's top sports nutritionists,

working with a range of high profile and elite sports people.  

Joanne is considered an advanced accredited sports dietitian by Sports Dietitians Australia.  Using the latest nutrition science, Joanne optimises her athletes' training and athletic performance.

Joanne also gives expert sports nutrition supplement advice to athletes, but believes a good diet is the first requirement of performance nutrition and was head sports dietitian at Golf Australia and has worked in a leading sports nutrition role in NRL for ten years at the Cronulla Sharks and Parramatta Eels.
